2026年5月於日本大阪盛大舉行之「亞太餐旅觀光教育學會（APacCHRIE）2026年年會」中，

本校第二任校長容繼業博士榮獲該學會最高榮譽「終身成就獎（Lifetime Achievement Award）」，消息傳來，振奮人心。

此項殊榮旨在表彰長期對餐旅觀光教育領域具卓越貢獻與深遠影響之學者專家。

National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) has once again achieved remarkable international recognition in 2026,

demonstrating its strong academic foundation and outstanding educational excellence in the field of hospitality and tourism.

At the Annual Conference of the Asia-Pacific Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (APacCHRIE),

held in Osaka, Japan, Dr. Jung-Chi Yeh (former president and the second president of NKUHT) was honored with the highest distinction,

the Lifetime Achievement Award. This prestigious recognition has brought great pride and excitement to the university community.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to scholars and professionals who have made exceptional and long-lasting contributions to hospitality and tourism education.

Dr. Yeh has devoted his career to advancing hospitality education, achieving outstanding accomplishments in academic research and talent cultivation.

He has also actively promoted international collaboration and industry–academia partnerships,

leading NKUHT toward greater global engagement and establishing its prominent position in the Asia-Pacific region.

His visionary leadership and dedication have earned widespread recognition from both domestic and international academic communities.
